Yesterday marked a momentous first occasion in my pregnancy: yesterday was the first time I had to leave the top button of my pants unbuttoned! In the last two weeks, I have definitely noticed that my clothes are starting to feel a little more snug around the middle. Maternity clothes and belly bands may be in the near future for me!

Congratulations! That means that you get to go shopping!!! I LOVED maternity clothes! I want to get pregnant again just to wear maternity clothes! :) I loved my belly bands -- they were especially useful AFTER pregnancy (sadly). They were also nice extra support when I was really pregnant. Big fan. Also a big fan of Motherwear nursing tops (should you decide to go that way) and Old Navy maternity pants. Old Navy maternity is best on-line (the stores rarely have much), and they let you return for free (including shipping) which makes it not so bad a deal.

ReplyDeleteSo nice to hear that your body is finally catching on to this pregnancy thing. I think I already look like I'm about 5 months along and I'm only a couple weeks further than you. Oh well, I just blame it on the fact that I've been there before so my belly just wants to be huge...NOW! :0)
